Privacy Policy

The Short Version

PuckLab is a hockey analytics platform. We don't track you, we don't sell data, and we don't use third-party advertising. An account is optional: it only saves the players and teams you follow, and you can delete it at any time.

What We Collect

You can use PuckLab without an account. If you sign in (with Google) to save players and teams, Google sends us your name, email address, profile picture and a Google account identifier, and nothing else: no contacts, no other Google data. We keep them with the players and teams you add to your lists and the dates you signed up and last signed in. We never ask for payment details.

Our web server may log standard access information (IP addresses, browser type, pages visited) for operational and security purposes. These logs are used solely for maintaining the Service and are not shared with third parties.

Your Account

We use your account only to show you your lists: we don't email you, and we don't share or sell your information. You can delete your account at any time from the account menu; your profile, lists and sessions are deleted immediately and permanently. Account data is stored on our servers, hosted by Hetzner in the United States.

Cookies

PuckLab uses only strictly necessary cookies for the functioning of the Service: one that keeps you signed in (30 days from your last visit), a short-lived one during Google sign-in (10 minutes), and admin authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

Third-Party Services

Signing in uses Google; Google's own privacy policy applies to your Google account. PuckLab does not integrate with third-party advertising networks, social media trackers, or analytics platforms that collect personal data. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Data Retention

Server logs are retained for a reasonable period for security and operational purposes, after which they are deleted. Account data is kept until you delete your account; a sign-in expires after 30 days without a visit.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
